OMG!  Please tell me I am not going crazy!  Since I moved back to LA I got my own studio apartment, living on my very own for the first time (usually I have a roommate at the very least).  Since I am living on my own, and working from home, I do not get out of my apartment as much as others do, because honestly, there really is no reason to, unless I am meeting up with friends, going on a run, or going shopping.  What’s nice about working from home is that I am not putting miles on my car.  Living in Washington and driving up North to see J, or driving down to Portland for filming, I put around 26,000 miles on my new Jetta in less than a year (it will be a year on the 25^th of June), so I am hoping to make up for all that mileage this year with driving less.  It is also nice to be able to work from home because now I can decide my own schedule, do what I want when I want, and go on auditions any time that I am scheduled without worrying about if I can get time off work or not… If I want time off work, I can have it, but if I don’t work, I don’t get paid – easy enough. 

The cons about working from home are that I do not get out much or enough.  I start to go crazy in my little studio all by myself.  So much that if someone starts to talk to me, I might talk their ear off, just for some human interaction, like my aunt does (and I DO NOT want to be like that).  I have caught myself doing it already to my bosses (G and M), sorry guys and even sometimes DH, but he is kind enough to play along, not that my bosses aren’t, I just feel bad about it, because like I said, I do not want to turn into my aunt. 

I think from now on, I will force myself to go out everyday and do something (I already run almost everyday, but something with a little more interaction).  I will also start to take acting classes again, YAY, with some teachers from my old college AADA.  I am super stoked about taking their acting/dialect class and it is a steal in price compared to all the other acting classes out there.  I am sure that I will have to do some type of scene study with a partner, so that will be great as well.  With taking that acting class, the dance class with my other college teacher those will for sure get me out and hopefully the interaction that I need to stay sane!  Because seriously, I cannot go crazy over here unless it is for a role, and I highly doubt LA will let me play crazy since all they see me as is “the girl next door”.
