I need to buy a dream book!  I had a few odd dreams from last night that I can remember, although I know I had way more than the two. 

In my first dream I was at this casino in the middle of nowhere.  There was one other casino around and they were competitors.  So, while at this casino I was pulled aside by the manager, apparently they had been watching me play cards. The manager asked me if I wanted to help with their security, but before I could say yes or no, he took me by my arm and pulled me into a secretive hall.  Once I was there, I was joined by another guy and girl around my age and a security team, as well as the man’s wife.  The man’s wife was telling the three of us that she really needed us to stay at this hotel/casino to catch card counters or people who are cheating while playing cards.  She was afraid that their casino was going to go out of business because of the other nearby casino and they wanted to take every measure possible to stay in business. While she is telling me this, I am asking myself why they chose me, because I do not count cards, I just play, although if it is a single deck it probably would not be hard if you have a good memory.  They brief the three of us on what to do and I try to act like I know what the hell they are talking about.  Then they tell us to go for it and expect us to go from table to table watching all these “card sharks”, I see none, in fact, all I want to do is leave this casino, I have places to go and I hate cigarette smoke.

A loud noise wakes me up.  I remember the dream I just had and wonder if I had dreamt that because I just watched Eagle Eye and The Hangover and J and I just had a road trip and while on that road trip we stopped at one of his best friend’s house (B-Rad) in a small town in Northern California where there are two small casinos, one B-Rad’s sister manages and the other a competing casino down the way.  This dream was not super exciting, but still, I would like to know what it means.

My second dream was Norway leaving back to Norway with her boyfriend.  She was actually just in town visiting right before I left to Chicago and I saw her for two days before I left.   I am assuming I had this dream because I did not get to say goodbye, but I am not sure.  In my dream my mom and I are in this mini van (WTF, cant I have chosen a better vehicle to drive in? I think the mini van came from J and I joking around all the time that we are going to buy a mini van – key work: joking) and we pick up Norway at the apartment she is staying at.  She and her boyfriend have to carry their bag together, it is a duffle bag, but it is apparently so heavy that it takes the both of them to carry it and they are still straining.   They get in the van and we take them to the airport – end of dream, this time I woke up due to my alarm.

I see that I have a text message.  I read it – it is from Seattle’s news (I have the Q13 Fox new alerts on my phone, best news team ever, btw… loved watching them in the morning, my day would not start off right without it).  It said that the pilot flying from Brussels to Newark had died mid-flight and that the plane was still expecting to land by 9am.  This adds to my reasons not to fly, one of these days I will make a list, and that will be on it.

To do today: laundry, dishes, buy a dream book.
