I had another audition at Catz studio yesterday.  It amazes me how each person has their own perception, idea and dress of the same character.  There were several females all going out for one role, paid, and her description was “a beautiful, conservative, responsible, elementary school teacher who is frustrated with her boyfriend who still lives with his college friends and parties every night.”

TWBFLTWBFLSunday was The World Bikini Football League’s first live game!  We have all been waiting for the day where we can play at an actual football stadium in front of live fans during the middle of the day (normally we play in the middle of the night at a closed off soccer stadium).

Bellevue ReporterBellevue ReporterMy bff came over Wednesday afternoon so that we could gather the last few items needed for our long Seattle weekend. We ran over to Michael’s to get numbers for our team uniforms, Sports Authority and scored some awesome new football cleats – love the grip and finally to dinner at Outback Steakhouse.

Scream QueenScream QueenWhat a busy month!  Ever since I decided on my five year plan, I have really started to focus more on my acting career, knowing that my boyfriend will get out of the Navy in five years, if my career is booming and I can then support us both, turning the tables.

Birthday CakeBirthday CakeToday is my mom’s 50th birthday.  A birthday that my mom has dreaded and knowing that, I tried to make it fun and exciting by throwing her a non-over the hill, surprise birthday party.  So, this last Sunday (after a crazy weekend of bikini football tryouts in Southern California to expand our Northwest League) with the help of her now (they broke up Sunday night) ex-boyfriend (who also used to be her ex-husband – long story).

  • Five Year Plan

I accidently figured out my five year plan.  I think it is always great to set goals, and I am the type of person who likes to plan things out, but for some reason I had not come up with a five year plan for myself since going to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

I went to my second casting director workshop Tuesday night with Dream Big Casting.  I completely adore the two casting directors that run the workshop and Dream Big Casting.  I love the fact that they are completely, brutally honest with your read in the workshop and while in the audition (because I am also an occasional reader for their auditions), they will stop you if you are horrible, or set your headshot aside and not even bother to send in your tape to the director.  I feel the more honest they are, the better, because how can you grow properly as an actor if you are given false information.  Have you ever seen those people o

This week has been one crazy week.  Spending time in San Diego with my best friend makes me never want to go back to my little studio in North Hollywood. On Friday my best friend and I set up a photoshoot with a photographer who will be taking pictures of The World Bikini Football League Southern California division tryouts on Saturday, August 15th in San Diego.  We wanted to meet with him before hand and do a test shoot to make sure he would be right for the girls once we figure out who shall be on our SoCal teams.

I’m spending this whole week with my best friend Christine while my boyfriend is suffering through Hell Week in Coronado.  I’ve noticed that since I came down to San Diego on Sunday night that each day I feel more and more out of it.  I cannot focus or concentrate because all I keep thinking about is J and if he is okay (which I know he is and I know he is going to pass Hell week, I have absolutely nothing to worry about, yet I cannot stop worrying).  Christine has been nice enough to deal with me this way.  She will start to ask me a question and she will have to repeat it several times before I can actually comprehend what she is
